It asks for your SSN, bank info, or ID up front. No reputable operator does this in a first letter.
It quotes a specific dollar figure you will receive. No one knows that before the file is reviewed and the claim is filed.
It refuses to put the fee in writing. Run.
It tells you that you cannot or should not contact the county yourself. False, on both counts.
It doesn’t cite the public record the case is built on. You should be able to ask, and they should be able to show you.
